Is Pasta Actually Bad For Our Health?
“Is Pasta Healthy for Us?”, There is a very well-known misconception that it is unhealthy to eat. But, is this true? Is it really as unhealthy as everyone says it is?
Well, it depends on how you look at it:
If pasta is eaten in moderate amounts and is consumed with nutrient-dense foods, it is healthy for your body. However, if eaten excessively, and not paired with healthy foods like fresh vegetables, it is not going to be good for your body or your waistline.

But you have to keep in mind that pasta is, without a doubt, unhealthy if you eat mass amounts of it. If it’s a regular food in your diet, the amount of gluten within your body will rise, in turn causing digestive issues. Such issues consist of leaky gut, inability to absorb needed nutrients, depletion of energy, and gluten cravings.
However, if you watch your intake and limit the amount of gluten your body can access, you’ll be better off. Benefits include increased energy, reduction in inflammation throughout the body, controlled cravings, and less gas, bloating, and diarrhea.

If you are able to control your portions sizes, go ahead and eat the carbohydrates once in a while. If you are able to incorporate other healthy foods, such as fresh vegetables, with your pasta intake, go for it.
